NaNoWriMo Day 5

We apologize for missing a day!
We hope that didn't stop you from writing and encourage you to share what you've done.

Today we are celebrating the holiday from the fourth: National Chicken Lady Day.

Can you finish this story...
Today was the WORSE day of my life. Some may read that and think I am being super dramatic but really, today is terrible! I went to bed a normal kid and work up as, gulp, a CHICKEN LADY! There were feathers all over, my feet were uglier than normal and when I tried to talk I clucked!
Oh Golly!
To make matters worse, I think someone is after me!

What happens next?

NaNoWriMo Day 3

Have you gotten into a writing groove?
Join us for Day 3 of NaNoWriMo...
Today's bizarre holiday is Sandwich day!

Describe your favorite sandwich!

For me it would have to be gooey mozzarella, ripe juicy tomatoes and fresh basil!
Yum! The very first time I had this wonderful concoction was years ago while working in a bakery. At the time I did not appreciate and did not care for tomatoes. However the owner of the bakery told me to give it a try and I have been hooked ever since!

Care to share your favorites?
Posts can be left here or on our youth services blog: LPL Children and Youth Servies Blog .
Have fun and happy writing!
Now, where can I get a sandwich....

NaNoWriMo Day 1

Welcome to National Novel Writer's Month and our write along! We invite you to submit posts to the first annual LPL write along. Each day we will post a writing prompt and you all can add something to it!
Today...November is Give up Your Shoulds Day.

Miles always did the right 'thing' never questioning or complaining. He was known as Mr. Dependable, a sure thing. He never uttered a negative word, never argued, just did as requested. If you needed a ride, Miles was your man. A hand with your yard work? Sure, call Miles! Everyone always knew that they could count on him until one day when Miles just....snapped. He was aware that doing the right thing was his norm but....

Can YOU add what happened to Miles using the Bizarre Holiday of 'Give up Your Shoulds Day'?

Submissions will be moderated before being posted.
